How To Rearrange Photos In Album On Android

I'm used to the apple/iphone layout. If yous're on an anthology, you tin just click select and rearrange the gild of the photos. I don't desire to guild it from the engagement taken or any. I just like to put related photos adjacent to each other, whether they were taken months apart or not.

Android lets you arrange by engagement, name, etc., not haphazardly. (Someone may have written a Gallery-type app that does, merely I've never seen i.)

Welcome to Android Central! As Rukbat suggested concluding yr in this thread, y'all'd take to search for a tertiary party Gallery app that might let you lot rearrange the photos. The stock Gallery app or the Google Photos app won't let you lot rearrange.

I figured out how to practise it on my Galaxy Tab A.
one) click on "My Files" on the main screen with all the icons
2) Select the device or SD storage where the photo album is saved to
three) Select the photo album that contains the photos you want to rearrange
four) Printing and hold the motion-picture show you want to start with and a box will appear (showing you selected that photo)
five) Select "More" in the upper right corner
6) Select "Rename" - this is where you can label the photos individually, one at a time, in the lodge you want them 1-ten (65, 100, etc)
7) Back completely out of "My Files" when done renaming photosVoile - your photos are now arranged in the order you want them.No need to download whatsoever unneeded apps wasting infinite on your tablet.
I hope this is helpful to y'all. I had risque photos that I didn't want showing every bit rhe album cover photograph and had to arrange another photo in it's place lol.

With a Samsung S7 (SM-G930V), working within the Gallery, I discovered that I could select "details" and and so "Edit" then change the Title to something sequential like 001.jpg, 002.jpg, etc.
